The Conservation Fund is in the business of conservation, creating innovative solutions that drive nature-based action for climate protection, sustainable economies and vibrant communities. TCF works with land trust, tribal and public land partners to conserve their most important lands and waters with its ability to pre-acquire or lend to compelling projects. In Downeast Maine, TCF has conserved with its partners over 383,000 acres of land including noted projects such as the Bold Coast, Machias Lakes and Sunrise Easement.
